Face2faces: a hybrid messaging system born in the field
The origins of Face2faces go back to the year 2000.
At that time, the French company Complices Jeans needed to manage its remote purchasing with suppliers in Asia. Exchanges had to be structured between the teams in France (the sender) and their Asian correspondents (the recipients). But e-mails were piling up, files were getting lost and subjects were getting mixed up.
We then decided to move into project mode.
Each order became a project, broken down into specialized subjects:
- prototype
- financial
- manufacturing
- logistics
Each of these subjects had its own dedicated space for exchanges and documents.
The themes were no longer mixed up, and everything was easy to find.
Above all, we introduced face-to-face writing.
A legible, traceable exchange between a sender and a receiver, subject by subject.
In the event of a collaborator leaving, his replacement would find the complete history of the project in less than 10 seconds, and could take over immediately.
Each project had its own library of exchange blocks, arranged by theme.
Then we enhanced this system by inventing hybrid messaging.
Two complementary discussion modes:
- Threaded discussions, fast like WhatsApp, to keep things moving quickly.
- Structured blocks, inspired by the logic of the blockchain, to secure, organize and trace each topic.
The result is Face2faces, the first hybrid messaging system for professional communication.
Tomorrow, all businesses will need hybrid messaging.
Because they work remotely. Because they collaborate with several people.
And because they want a tool that thinks like them:
fast when you need to move fast, structured when you need to remember.
Welcome to the future of professional communication.
Welcome to Face2faces.
